I need something strong to hold my projector (5'), laptop or other equipment and this product did not disappoint! It's easy to move my projector setup and not get stuck in a permanent location. The stand is pretty solid, rolls well, and the top deck tilts (just in case your projector doesn't have lens shift capability). The tilt feature is also useful for people who need a more ergonomic setup when using a laptop. The welds on this stand are of excellent quality. The basic geometry of the tripod makes it more stable and durable than any other tripod in its class. The platforms have slots that allow cables to be routed with Velcro or cable ties. The casters have locks on a pair of wheels to help you keep a fixed position. Anyway, I'm really glad I found this product as my initial research led me to a bunch of crappy tripods that looked incredibly flimsy and were only marginally cheaper than the mount it is. If you're looking for a tripod though, I'd go with the Hola HPS-300B, which seems pretty versatile and would work well as an outdoor projector. Other tripods can't compete with Hola at all.
