Review on Leviton 40681 W Connector Decora Insert by Alonzo Wilkins

I used the original coaxial wall plate in the 1968 living room. I recently upgraded my coax cables and decided to upgrade my wall panels as well. I ordered this single F-Coax insert along with a polished brass wall plate. Installing this single insert was a bit of a hassle as the top and bottom pieces are plastic and flex when screwed into the wall box. So it had to be readjusted several times. Then attach the brass wall plate with the short screws included in the kit. When everything is installed everything looks very good, but the inside will flex from side to side when pressure is applied to the connected coax. Because of this, it is not very durable. I believe if the top and bottom were metal and there was a metal frame on the sides it wouldn't be as fragile and won't bend as much. I also ordered a model with two F-Coax connectors, but it comes with a matching cap. Although I'm replacing the lid on it with a wooden one to match the bedroom furniture.
