Review on 🔧 Dorman 917-211 VVT Solenoid: Optimize Engine Performance for Lexus and Toyota Models by Josel Lambert

I had OBD II codes P1354 - variable valve timing error, P0300 - random misfires, P0302 - 2nd cylinder misfires, P0304 - 4th cylinder misfires, P0206 - 6th cylinder misfiring. Just replace this part; It was the closest thing to the engine—a 10-minute job. I could try cleaning the existing solenoid valve but figured a new one would be the best solution as the other valve had about 140k miles on it. I've driven 1000 km since the change, no problems. I expect to have to replace another valve with a mirror part soon.
