Review on 🐱 Weight Care Adult Dry Cat Food by Royal Canin Feline Care Nutrition by Stacy Hahn

THE "NEW " ROYAL CANIN LIGHT: IT'S THE "NEW COCA " FOR CATS AND WHY.

Remember when Coca-Cola foolishly messed with their formula and gave us "New Coke," a soda that nobody in America asked for? Well, Royal Canin's decision to reformulate Indoor Light 40 gives me dΓ©jΓ  vu - why couldn't they just leave it alone? I can't tell if this decision was driven by corporate bean counters looking to cut costs, as some here have suggested. But the results, at least with my cat, have not been good. My cat ONLY eats dry food and up until a few weeks ago the only food I ever fed was Royal Canin as recommended by his breeder. Over time he gained weight and I switched to the Indoor Light 40 formula which worked well for me. until Royal Canin decided to screw up the formula. His allergic reactions started almost immediately, although I had to consult with my vet and read similar stories posted here before realizing that changing his food formula was the cause. I have now switched to Orijen dry food. which has significantly better meat and fish with high protein content and only 17% carbohydrates. He loves it, his allergy problems are gone and I feel better when I feed him no carb dry food. When it comes to cats, I can't say if my experience will be your experience. However, changing the composition of Indoor Light does not seem to help, but has caused problems for many cat owners, including myself. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope it helps you with your purchase decision. .
