Review on 🚘 GMO-014 Factory Integration Interface: OnStar and Chime Retention Module for Select GM Vehicles (2000-Up) by Rich Ferguson

NOT THAT COOL Product

This unit worked in my 2005 GMC Yukon SLT. nearly. I had two of these (returned for another). This allowed the use of sound, calls and Onstar. It also produced a hissing noise in my speakers that could be heard between tracks and especially in the AUX, and it was NOT working to play the DVD sound in the back seat through the new radio. The rear DVD plays VERY low audio (with lots of hissing that gets louder as the volume is turned up) unless a factory radio was installed. It is clear that some data has to pass through the Class II bus in order to tell the DVD player to output audio at line level. In my opinion this is a very overpriced not 100% fulfill
