complete scrap. I'm a songwriter and audio engineer. I just needed something inexpensive to replace my broken MacBook built-in microphone for Facetime, Siri, etc. With full amplification and normal volume conversations within 6 inches of the mic, it barely registered. -37dBFS. It's so quiet it doesn't really work. Extremely disappointed.
