Just opening the box was exciting. Very nicely packaged. I bought an old block last year and I love it! I was told they released a newer model and should have tried it as I use it all the time. I have a 5 year old son and it has helped me teach him a lot more when I was looking for other riders and riding techniques. Then I use it with friends when we go on a trip. They are very easy to install and hide the wiring. This kit (g16) comes with an improved mount that uses screws that attach to the helmet. I'm looking forward to using this as I haven't done well gluing another one. Simple set change from new to old. Once you learn how to connect devices, you'll be amazed at how clear you are. I have a pretty loud crf450r which I think drowns out the mic but they all hear me very well and clearly. My favorite thing to do is to hear my 5 year old sing and talk to himself while riding. perfect for the price. Never had a problem with the battery when skiing at the weekend.
