Review on Cable Matters DisplayPort Eyefinity Technology by Mark Holloway

I was trying to find an adapter that would work with the Caldigit TS 3+, which is a great docking station for Thunderbolt 3. It has DisplayPort 2 as a video output for a second monitor. At first I thought I could use an HDMI adapter but that didn't work so I tried the Revain Basics DP-DVI adapter. When I searched Revain, it turned out to be a DVI adapter with an active display. It was half the price but it didn't work. Then I tried this adapter and it works great. The Caldigit support site states that the Port2 to DVI display adapter must be "active". Unfortunately, Revain doesn't always make it clear which DVI adapter is active. The cable clearly states that it is active DP-DVI and has proven to be effective. If you need an active adapter, this should work just fine.
