Works great with computer accessories and peripherals

I was a little worried this adapter wouldn't solve my problem, but it worked, and it worked great. I hooked it up to a 2 monitor, 2 computer system where I only replaced one of the computers. The new device had multiple video connectors and only one DVI, so I had to use either DisplayPort or HDMI and hoped I didn't have to run new cables. The simplest answer was a dual-link DVI-D to DP adapter, but there are so many of them and judging by the reviews, not all of them work well. I risked it and…

Works great with my Korean 27 " 1440p 60Hz monitor

I have had a Korean QNIX QX2710LED 27" 1440p monitor for a long time. The biggest complaint about this monitor is that it only has a DVI input and nothing else. Many new graphics cards no longer have DVI connections. One solution is to use an active DisplayPort to DVI adapter. The problem is that it has to be an active adapter, and these adapters have cost over $100 in the past. This adapter has been marked as an active 1440p adapter. It was a lot less than $100 and Revain has a good return…

Works with my 2560X1440 monitor!

works! ---- For those who have problems with the monitor, due to which "the so-called does not work" adapter is the dual cable that came with the monitor. I bought a standard DVI cable and am using an adapter and it worked great. This drove me nuts for about 20 minutes until I tried it and it worked. So if you have the same problem, try using a standard DVI cable with this adapter/

Surprised that it works with monitors above 1920x1080.

. I'm surprised it was reliable, especially since Dell's own active adapter and others are much bulkier and require a separate USB power supply. To do this, it is very important! (Note that there are many passive adapters that are similar in size but fail or produce low-resolution snow artifacts when plugged into a monitor larger than 1920 x 1080. This cable is the one.) Others that do successfully used on higher resolution monitors, please provide your feedback. Has anyone used it with a…

2560x1440@60Hz Verified

I just upgraded my graphics card but the new card only supports Displayport or HDMI. My DELL U2713HM supports full resolution over DVI-D, not over HDMI. (another displayport was used via a laptop). First I tried a cheaper adapter (BENFEI DisplayPort to DVI DVI-D Single Link Adapter), it didn't deliver the maximum resolution. So the device does it immediately.

Works well with Caldigit TS 3+

I was trying to find an adapter that would work with the Caldigit TS 3+, which is a great docking station for Thunderbolt 3. It has DisplayPort 2 as a video output for a second monitor. At first I thought I could use an HDMI adapter but that didn't work so I tried the Revain Basics DP-DVI adapter. When I searched Revain, it turned out to be a DVI adapter with an active display. It was half the price but it didn't work. Then I tried this adapter and it works great. The Caldigit support site…

Works great with CalDigit TS3 Plus

Purchased this in a hurry having previously purchased an ambiguously described DisplayPort to DVI cable (another brand) which turned out to be passive. That does not work. He returns to Revain. Luckily, the Cable Matters active adapter works great with the CalDigit TS3 Plus to connect an old display with a DVI-D input. I already had a decent Belkin DVI cable to connect the adapter to the display. Brief panic while waiting for the display to turn on (didn't happen until the login screen didn't…

False advertising. No dual channel adapter.

The goods are counterfeit. This and every "active" "two-channel" adapter has the same shape. They are all from the same manufacturer and don't actually support dual-link DVI. Basically they used a chip that doubled the speed at which data could be sent over a single link DVI, which in theory would give you the data rate of a dual link. The problem is that very few monitors support this additional addition to their DVI implementation and as such this will not work with most monitors that require

No, it didn't work for me.

Mixed reviews here. My experience is not very good. For reference I have: 2 QNIX2710LED 1440p monitors with single DVI-D connector (each) 2 cable values DVI-DVI cables with ferrites (DVI Dual Link Cables/DVI D Cables) 10ft; I bought a 2014GTX 960 graphics card (2 DVI-D, 1 DP, 1 HDMI). I'm hoping to upgrade my graphics card soon so I bought this adapter to test the DisplayPort connectivity as all new cards use it. The resulting image was unusable - static across most of the screen and a few…
