Overall they work good, but the hole in the cover is so small that there isn't much room with a regular sized power cord. The only way to use it was to just remove the cap and treat it like a big round socket. I've tried enlarging the hole in the lid, but it's almost impossible to get it right. It would also be nice if they were in a smaller version so you could insert them into opposite sides of a cabinet opening (I've used them for cables through vertical dividers where both sides are visible). Or, even better, a reversible version where the two sides snap into a hole.
