Light but inferior - take cheaper options!

The design of this bag is inferior to much cheaper bags sold like Bluefield or Lixada. Once you pull on the straps hard enough, the threads in the seams will begin to stretch and you can watch them fall apart as you continue tightening them as tight as you need them to be. In addition, thin straps are incredibly difficult and long to pull. The fabric is the best part, but its light weight isn't dramatic enough compared to the cheaper Bluefield/Lixada bag to make it worthwhile. This bag has an excellent design that puts all the load on the straps themselves so the fabric never stretches or frays and the straps work so quickly and easily. The only positive is that the end cap covers the opening from rain; However, a piece of plastic bag in the opening of the Bluefield/Lixada bag will easily solve this problem, so I'm not disputing that.

Pros
  • 100% nylon 30D siliconized ripstop
Cons
  • Negligible repairability
