Bad item from the packaging. Poor quality control
Reviews looked ok for under $20 when Yamaha wants $80. Replacing is not difficult, but still enough time. Checked part in garage was fine. Installed and tested before assembly, everything works. I put everything back together, tried again and found that it works intermittently. He took it out, put it back in the box and noticed that "NFG" was written on the box with a bright pen. Must agree. Return and order genuine Yamaha parts to save time and have peace of mind in the long run.
