This chair is definitely a new experience. I came from the traditional faux leather office chair with a back and wheels, and I made the switch because I realized I've been slouching a lot in that chair. So having this kneeling chair is a good reminder for myself to sit straight (and stay awake!) when I do work.A few downsides that I will overlook: this does put some pressure on your knees and shins if you sit for a long time. So all the more reason to take a break every once in a while, and walk/stretch out those legs.Also, sometimes I wheel myself around and I'll move a little too far or in the wrong direction. That may or may not be related to the rigidity of the wheel's spinners, or the evenness of my wooden floor.All in all, this took a leap of faith, trying out my first kneeling chair. But I'm glad this was my first and I have a feeling it'll last for a while.
