They appear to be well made and look quite expensive for the price. My only concern is that they contain electronics and a non-replaceable lightbulb. Keep in mind that they are quite small and are a spotlight, not a spotlight. Good for reading or washing a small area under light, not illuminating a large area. The lights use a touch switch with built-in blue light. There are three switch positions: light on with blue light on, light off with blue light on (night light) and both lamps off. The switch also works as a touch dimmer. Hold to decrease brightness in one direction. Release and hold the button again to go the other way. The light remembers its settings when you turn it off, for example when you turn on the wall switch.
