This perch is no small item so plan for it to take up a lot of space in a corner of your bird cage. However, it is worth it. The perch is very strong, stable and easy to install. This will add variety to your bird perch. My parrot loves his corner bass! I put his treats on the perch or hang them in the corner of the cage and he likes to have a spot where he can pick them from all sides without being on the bottom of the cage. Although the perch is made of wood, it is quite easy to clean. And since it's wood, I use Nature's Miracle Birdcage Cleaner on a paper towel to wipe down the perch. This helps remove feces and stains safely and effectively. My parrot doesn't peck at the wood so it holds up very well. I've had cockatiels before and this perch will work for them too. I believe this will work for all small to medium sized bird species. Parrot and I are very happy with this purchase!
