This is a great monitor with good performance and lots of useful features for office work. Unfortunately, after a few hours of use, the top CCFL backlight tube began to fail. The upper left quadrant of the display suddenly became noticeably darker. It's still usable, but the slightly darker part of the screen is a bit annoying. As this is a used monitor I can't really complain. This is one of the main monitor failure modes that are widely used. Eventually, the monitor needing repairs was an opportunity I was willing to take advantage of when making the purchase. I have the skills to do this type of repair so it's not a problem. I just wish it didn't start glittering so soon after buying it.
