Great pump, very strong and boring. He will fuel himself. It has a unique 3 wheel design. Water does not flow when the pump is off. High pressure when the pump is on. A little noisy. but it's outside, i can't hear it when i'm in the house. I am using it in a closed loop underfloor heating application where the water temperature reaches 150 degrees intermittently. This is a home made boiler system where a pump draws water from an open tank and forces it through a tank-less water heater designed for the task and then into a skirted convection heater, after which the water is returned to the tank. The temperature of the tank varies but can reach 150 degrees. The pump is a high quality reinforced plastic of an unknown type but handles the heat just fine. I don't use the filter that comes with it as it's a cheap plastic that can melt.
