I have 2 helmets and I use them depending on the type of trip I'm doing. For car trips or trips to the office I have a Schuberth E1 on which I installed the first kit that came with the communicator. After a few off-road rides, I decided I needed a helmet that would work with goggles. Goggles protect your eyes from dust and debris, while sunglasses get in and pollute the screen from the inside, limiting your vision. So I got the Scorpion EXO-AT950 and removed the shield. I needed this Scorpion helmet mounting kit and it worked great. No real mounting or wiring issues. It takes some time to put it in the helmet and arrange everything. On both helmets I used an adhesive mount instead of a clip. When I glued the mount, I clamped it and left it alone for 24 hours to allow the glue to bond properly. I've been riding motorcycles for about 30 years, never had a communication system or the ability to play music. I have to say this is a great addition. I hear instructions on my phone and am still entertained by the music. When I ride with others, I can talk to them or share important information about upcoming corners, obstacles or problems.
