Cardo Audio Microphone Black Single Review

The microphone often stops working. I think the problem is very thin wires. Probably collapsed with helmet. For the price, the quality of the microphone and headphones is very poor. I bought a new kit and after a short time I had the same problems. Otherwise they are great.

use this all the time on my bike. You can listen to music, make and receive calls, and use it as an intercom with all other drivers. Used on an epic cross country trip with 6 good friends, the open mic kept us all having a fun time throughout the trip. The battery lasts about 8 hours for group rides.

These speakers don't work as well as the JBL Bold speakers I got with the Packtalk Bold system. In my second helmet, I barely heard my intercom group with it. I replaced them with an extra set of JBL Bold speakers and at the same volume, my ears almost burst!

I have several helmets and I always add this to each helmet so I never lose touch. The Cardo is a great gift for any rider and I recommend it to everyone else because I've tried others, but the Cardo has never let me down. The mic is great, once you get it right people can't believe how quiet it is when I tell them I'm on my bike.

Eligible for warranty replacement of a defective Cardo device. Following their warranty protocol, I was sent a replacement 'refurbished' unit that did not include a replacement microphone or speaker set. Cardo's product is great. The kits allowed me to use the Cardo device on multiple helmets without having to move speakers and other equipment. Protects helmets.
