As my family and I are avid hikers, things like this inverter are always close at hand. We won't be hiking for a few more months but I was able to take advantage of this last week when we had a snow storm. My husband is a tractor driver and was called to work during a storm. I wanted to go, so I took this inverter with me to power my laptop while we were away and it worked great! I plug it straight into the cigarette lighter and get 2 sockets with ground. I'm looking forward to it, we will definitely be able to use a lot of it.
