My final ownership of an iPhone was in 2022, and it was the iPhone 4s, which was the only model available at the time and which brought back the happiest memories of using a mobile device. But the design of the 6th axis just didn't sit well with me, so I decided to switch to Blackberry. After that, I went through several different android manufacturers before settling on Samsung for the past four years. I was given the 12th iPhone by my employer, and I've chosen to give it another go; therefore, I shall evaluate it in comparison to the s21. Let's start with the positives. Although the phone's sharp edges detract a little bit from the overall tactile experience, it is clear that the designers at Apple are not wasting their time: the phone has a stunning appearance. Yet, if you wear it without the case, you run the risk of having all of its allure evaporate almost immediately. The design of the shell is also really beautiful. Although they aren't as functional, widgets on iOS have a lot more aesthetically pleasing design than their android counterparts. In contrast to Samsung and other manufacturers, Apple has managed to achieve a level of visual coherence across the entire display of icons. On the other hand, I favor a desktop that can be customized and uses a gesture to launch the program menu (swiping from the bottom to the top), but Apple does not provide this option. In overall, everything is lovely, but unfortunately, that is where the positives come to a stop. Bangs - for an amateur, I didn't go. It is unclear why the sub-screen print has not yet been developed, despite the fact that face recognition is reliable yet cumbersome to use in many circumstances (on s21 it works without errors in a split second). CarPlay is a native navigator for the 2022, but Google Maps does not have sound. This navigator is not very good. The dialer has not been updated in 12 years; there is no option for speed dialing using alphanumeric characters, and it frequently becomes unresponsive. Without extra equipment, it is not possible to broadcast what is on the screen on television. Why is it that the motion for "back" that involves swiping from the left edge cannot be changed? Is there a left-handed version of the iPhone? Stretching is inconvenient, but everything can be readily configured on the Samsung. You will not be able to use your phone to charge your headphones or watch videos on it. But these are just petty concerns. The most important feature is a closed system, which everyone utilized to be so pleased with, but now they cover their cards with cases and use web-based versions of banking programs (without face id and other goodies). In general, I went back to the Samsung a week later, and I gave the family's iPhone as a gift; the present moment is most definitely not the finest time to transition to an apple product.
