The cover was received promptly in good condition. Without the instructions that came with it, I had to figure out how to separate the case and mount the Tab A. Now that it's on the tablet I can see the ripple pattern caused by the protective film. Too bad I didn't see someone's review sooner because I would have looked for a different product. Really disappointed. I will say that the fit and finish of the case itself is great. Allows you to comfortably hold your tablet. The stand looks very thin. I don't expect it to last very long even with normal use. The built in kickstand is what I wanted to prop the tablet on. I have a Bluetooth keyboard and the stand suits me. The angle doesn't seem to be a problem to me. Now I have to decide whether to try to remove the protective film or return it. I'll try a bit more but the screen hurts my eyes anyway so something has to happen one way or the other. Note: The attached photos were taken in the shade. In the room everything is just as bad or worse. UPDATE: As previously mentioned, this article does not provide instructions. Today I decided to remove the protective film. After removing the tablet, I found a second protective film inside the frame. The only thing visible was a small tab that caught my attention. I removed the protective film and put the protective cover back on the tablet. VOILA! Looks great! I'm back in business with a clean, ripple-free display. I changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars because I still think the stand will fail. The rest is excellent.
