We have ample storage space in our basement and it was a lot easier than taking apart wood and packing it in boxes. It took us 20 minutes to cover it and then we turned it on its side and used the handles to climb down. Next year I think we'll just have to rearrange the shredded branches a bit. We have a 9 foot coverage, although we have a 7.5 foot tree based on other reviews and because our tree is basically the widest tree we could find (that's the Frasier Grande National Tree Company ). It was definitely the right step, it fits perfectly and there is no extra fabric. However, I'm not sure the 9ft cover is really the size it's intended for - maybe if it's a skinny 9ft tree. However, this is something you can always try and return if needed.
