Review on Finnex Stingray Aquarium Light 20 Inch by Meaghan Abosi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great light for the price!

I purchased the 48 inch version of this lantern and received it yesterday. I haven't had this flashlight for a very long time but thought I'd share my first impressions. Stay tuned for long term updates. Good 1. Reliable build quality - metal body with plastic lens and mounts. 2. Very Low Profile - This light is so thin it almost disappears on top of your tank. a work that reproduces all the colors of my fish. I have African cichlids and they look a lot more colorful under this light than under my old Beamswork 6500k Factory LED. 4. Excellent value for money! 1. Some parts seem a little thin, such as B. Mounting Brackets. 2. No features like lighting modes or timers. This light is very simple. Note that this is happening and this is a very cheap branded light. not as bright as I was hoping - I'd say it's about as bright as a standard t8 fluorescent tube. I think it will grow plants in very low light at best. You can add two of these to your setup if you want to grow lighter plants. This is really the only downside to what is generally a very good fixture. Conclusion: A great lamp for the price! It's not the brightest or most feature-rich device out there, but for the price it's great. I would say for best results buy two for your aquarium unless you have a shallow 40L tank. Stay tuned for more updates.
