I bought these ski pants with some hesitation as some reviews said the seams were torn but mine were sewn well and I am very happy with these ski pants.- They sit well over ski boots . The inner layer is made of stretchy, grippy material and Velcro to keep it firmly attached to the boot. The zippers on the outer layer also make it very easy to put the boot on. As for noise, they make a little noise when walking, but that wasn't a problem for me. Wore them and wanted to have dinner afterwards without worry. - There are vents on the inner thighs in case you get hot - I used to be a 32x32 and ordered medium (mine is 6ft 1in, 185lbs). Haven't worn anything underneath yet and had to adjust the waist pull tabs to the smallest setting and wear a belt.Length was great although a little long if you're wearing regular shoes.-Ended up in the snow a few times a run and had none problems getting wet. I look forward to my next outing on the slopes with them.
