The Deckhand 40 remote switch will not work with a Deckhand 25 anchor as they are two completely different switches: the Deckhand 40 remote switch has 3 wires and the Deckhand 25 switch has 5 wires. But you can buy reg. switch and it works. I BOUGHT OILS 40 REMOTE CONTROL BECAUSE SOMEBODY OTHER HAS IT when they bought sailor 25 elec.anchor. I purchased this item from amazon.com on 10/08/13.
