Review on πŸ‹οΈ High-Performance Pro-LifT T-6903D Double Pin Jack Stand - 3 Ton Capacity, Single Pack by James Wiley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pair rated at 6,000 pounds

I have had a pair of 3 ton Pro Lift Racks for a long time. I can't remember where I put it, probably in one of the spares chains. This pair was operated together with a pair of 3 ton danger stands. Neither pair has given me any problems, although I'll confess I don't use them as often as I should. However lately I've been thinking more and more about security when working under something and I feel like the single lock style is beyond my imagination. Then just last week a truck fell on my neighbor and just broke his collarbone. He's worked with cars all his adult life and even owned his own shop, so you'd think he would know better. He was lucky he didn't die. This was my deciding factor in ordering new double lock shelves. That and four 3 ton single locks are now bound and keep my boat trailer off the ground for the winter so I can store tires in it. So, now to the review. First impression is where they lost the star. The paint is thin so you can see the primer and they don't look pretty. Otherwise the overall construction and the welds are fine. I like the double locking pin. The pin is numbered so it only goes one way. It takes some getting used to. You should be aware that the weight rating is listed as a pair. So each stand is only good for Β£3000. I personally didn't know this until now, but it makes sense. Windscreen wipers are not used individually, but always in pairs. Bushings are the same, they should always be used as a pair, hence they are rated as a pair. All in all, the 2 pairs I bought should accompany me for a lifetime.
