If you look at this then you have a vinyl collection. If you have a vinyl collection, you're carrying around a lot of archaic recording media that somehow kept you off hot cars for 40 or 50 years. Mind you, a phone that fits in your pocket can easily hold ten times your vinyl collection! Then why do you need this huge pile of wax? It's simply because you love music. So why listen to your precious vinyl on a crappy kit? If you have a $20-30-40 pin and you're thinking, "Ah, I can understand the text, that's enough," then stop reading this and order the above setup right now. You will rediscover your vinyl! That needle is expensive for some, but if you can't afford it, go mowing your neighbor's lawn for cash or serve tables or something. Just do it. I'm not an audiophile, but still. The first thing that immediately strikes me is the expansion of the range. The bass is bass and the treble is higher. Then clarity and boldness in the vocals. It is so sweet. Then the way the instruments just stand out from each other, each in their own place. How long does the cymbal crackle last? We're playing Doobie Brothers and I swear I can feel my hair and beard growing.
