I don't use room lights, I have used them in my candle holders in the corner of the garden planter and in holders in each corner of the window while using the garden planter. They throw off enough light to see it's not pitch black and so relaxing with that little shimmer it even helps to relax. It's so easy to toggle on and off with the switch and feels like it's going to last a while despite the battery being meant to be tiny. I am very happy with them and would buy them again.
