It's just phenomenal! A little background - I worked with a 4 month old German Shepherd urine stain that was in a certain corner of the rug (medium length). I had my doubts about this product when I wiped all over the carpet behind the counter with a Bissell Odor Eliminator carpet cleaner. The smell lingered, I could smell it from almost every room and even when I went to bed at night. need - and that for a great price of $10 are you kidding me? When other enzymatic cleaners cost twice as much and aren't meant to clean carpets? Steps I took after a lot of reading: First, I mixed some Nature's Miracle with baking soda and vinegar and poured out a ton of water using a kitchen mug. over the affected area. I then let it sit for a good 30 minutes while I prepped the carpet shampoo. Step 2 I mixed Nature's Miracle (2 capfuls from my regular bissell container) into the steam cleaner's container. I then filled it with the coldest water I could get as my carpet cleaner has a heating element which I've read is THE WORST thing for cleaning pet urine stains. Anything in the heat only intensifies the smell. Step 3 I just sprayed the affected area and drenched the carpet even more. Keep this in mind - there was a lot of product on the carpet at this point, which was fine with me as I was pretty sure the urine had made it all the way to the pillow. At this point I let it sit on the carpet for another 20 minutes. Step 4 It's time to start steam cleaning. I started slowly and methodically, working every square inch of the affected area and then proceeded to shampoo the rest of my living room. Step 5 (VERY IMPORTANT) After removing as much moisture as possible, I left all the furniture and other items behind. things off the carpet and opened all the windows in the house and turned on the HVAC fan. I also placed a spinning home fan as close to the spot as possible and let the ENTIRE carpet dry overnight. In the morning I felt like I had a brand new carpet again. And remember, I didn't do this for SMELL because of the stains, but over time I've noticed that Nature's Wonder does a great job removing carpet stains and small stains too. In short, I will keep buying this product for its effectiveness. and cheap price. Finally I have a living room that guests can enjoy again!
