Everything was bubble wrapped in an undamaged box. The clear plastic case for the extra 2 of the 5 blades was double wrapped in bubble wrap. As I was taking everything out of the box to rinse before testing, I noticed a small scratch/tear in the clear plastic blade storage case. It doesn't really matter, because even when it's filled with water, it doesn't leak at this point, so it's more of an aesthetic nuisance. Not sure how it got damaged when double wrapped in bubble wrap. All other parts were easy to disassemble and assemble and easy to clean. The cleaning brush that comes with it is very cheap and breaks easily, but my regular kitchen brush that I use for washing dishes holds up well and cleans really well. If you toggle the suction switch on and off to get it sticking well, you may have to wiggle the switch back and forth once or twice while holding it down so it can grab it. It wasn't really difficult and it didn't take long to get him to hold on to the counter. I think that a clean table, washed from grease and completely dried, does it better. The blades aren't that easy to cut unless you're dumb with them. You just have to remember that they are very sharp and be careful when holding them and how you hold your hands when using the device. I would not leave any parts of the unit with food residue on them as it is very difficult to clean once food dries on it so rinse and brush immediately after use. Wider vegetables have better results when used, so be sure to choose the widest one you can find in the store. Even the not-so-wide zucchini I used worked great too. Remember, the thinner the veggies, the shorter the noodles. I posted a photo of the zucchini I used by putting my finger on it to show the sizing chart. A zucchini this size could make enough vegetarian spaghetti noodles to make a full plate of cooked pasta. I don't know why people have complained about the veggie noodles just flying around. I arranged the plastic container that came with the machine to form a sort of T-shape and it caught all the noodles perfectly, leaving room for stock and I didn't have to adjust anything during the making process. I would like to point out that I am also disabled and prone to severe arm pain and tenderness. I barely had to squeeze this utensil as I moved it toward the blades, and when I turned the handle, it slid like a hot knife through softened butter as I cooked zucchini. I'm sure they might need a bit more strength with firmer veggies, but I don't see it as too difficult. I would have given that 5 stars if it wasn't for that scratch/crack in the clear blade storage case. All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase. All the parts except the brush seem very strong and I don't think they will break any time soon. It even comes with a little recipe book with photos of the dishes and they look like great dishes to try. I will definitely buy this product again. I might even get one for one of my sisters.
