European model is supplied with 220 VAC, 50 Hz only - cannot be used in North America!
Illuminator looked like new. Something metallic rumbled around the power supply. I couldn't turn on the porthole. In North America, it's impossible to use 220V at 50Hz without spending about $1,500 on a 60Hz to 50Hz power converter. It would be helpful for Revain to let me know that they are selling me a device that is guaranteed not to work in this part of the world.
