We're delighted that we've replaced our dark gray basement rug with this striking geometric rug that brings the mid-century style space to life. Better quality than I expected, however this is a thinner rug. The material is neither plush nor heavy, but still dense, with densely packed fibers. Soft but with a strong texture. High score for looks and design; One star removed because it's thin and overall simpler. We attached it with the legs of a small sofa - I wouldn't recommend using it alone without bracing/furniture or a non-slip mat underneath - it glides easily. When the carpet was first installed we had to press two corners for a few days to keep them flat on the floor. However, I will keep them under the carpet with a non-slip mat. It's very light - I wouldn't put it in a high traffic area if the dirt was showing? The grandkids will play this when they're done so I'll update the clothing information.
