Review on Sunforce 55510 Power Converter Black by Tony Kingdom
Useful for 12 volt products in a 110/120 volt AC environment
I bought this for an electric cool box which I bought secondhand from an alternative website when my first 110/ 120 volt to 12 volt converter didn't give the cooler enough amps or whatever I believe. The original converter I had was 12 volts at 5.8 amps or whatever it says on the sticker and in the specs on the website when I plug in the unit it reads the voltage on the plug in 15.6 volts or something like that and it shows 13.2 volts, this one is 10 amps. The converter itself works quite well, a bit noisy, not that you can't speak normally, but somewhat audible. It's like a microwave oven or a low power fan.
