Helped me. I used it with a Creative C110 reader on my BMW E39 (2000 528i). This car has both an OBD-II socket in the cabin and a round 20-pin connector under the hood. From the standard connector under the dash I could only read the basic engine codes. With this adapter plugged under the hood I got a lot more diagnostic information and was able to reset the airbag light as well as some ABS codes left over from a previous repair. If you have a 20-pin connector under the hood, you'll need that for advanced diagnostic information.
