Review on Orange House Laundry Detergent Pods 12 Pacs: Natural 5-in-1 Solid Pods with Granule Formula - Efficient Cleaning Solution by Dawn Valdez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Expensive, bulky, just normal

I tossed one of these pods in the back of the front loading washing machine, over my clothes, and ran it through the 'sanitize' cycle as usual. It seemed to be working fine. My clothes weren't actually stained, so there weren't any obvious stains that needed to be removed. They looked pretty average/normal but didn't smell that great. Actually it doesn't smell. I can smell a very faint orange odor from the capsules before they go into the washing machine but no odor comes out on clothes. I love orange, so I was hoping for a light orange scent. There is nothing. They are easy to use. The instructions say not to put them in the detergent drawer, but to put them on top of your clothes, closer to your back. I've seen some browsers get confused here, thinking they need two modules per load. only one Cardboard canister with plastic lid. The lid isn't very tight, but it's ok. Although I'm a little annoyed at how empty the canisters are. It's about 3/4 full. So empty, wasted space. You get 12 capsules per can, which equates to $1 per load. I don't know how to do this long term. It's too expensive for me, especially for average performance. As you can see from my photo, they also take up a lot of space! In the jug behind is my usual detergent; This bottle washes 100 loads, while all three jugs only wash 36. You can see that the pitchers take up more space than the pitcher. I understand they are lighter but large ones can't be cheap to ship, especially from China where they are made. I'm not sure how this saves the environment or anything.

Pros
  • Natural and fresh: A premium detergent capsule with 100% cold-pressed orange oil and plant-based ingredients offers your family the gentlest washing solution.
Cons
  • Very expensive
