This is the correct part for a 2005 Taurus. Not sure if it was a removed part or not but the original screws are too long. I broke one in the block. Luckily I have the tools to fix something like this. After drilling and threading, I cut about 1/8 inch off the existing screw, cut a new one the same length, and secured them with "Loc Tight" to make sure they didn't come out on their own.
