Lots of noise inside (unless you modify it)

I have an update, I took apart the boom pole and put a braided sleeve on top and the noise is completely gone. It's a real must, but it works, although it makes the setup a bit more complicated. The exchange is worthwhile. The braided cable sheath can be found here. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FR1B3T7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you need to disassemble the bottom, you must first remove the rubber grip that touches the bottom to reveal the screw hole. The screw inside needs to be turned "clockwise" to loosen the attachment and you will need jewelers screwdrivers small enough to fit the hole. When you want to tighten it again, actually turn the screw counter-clockwise. You may not need to take the bottom apart and if you don't it's easier to put it back together, but getting a shell isn't easy at all. Cable. The sheath essentially provides the cushioning and resistance between the cable and the walls of the bar. I can shake mine really hard right now and have no sound at all. The cable makes tons of noise inside, so this is for very quiet use. I have to move for different actors or whatever to make noise. I haven't cracked it yet to see if I can isolate it, but I hope I can. the problem is big enough to draw attention to it.
