This review is for Helios, and while some nice features have been built in, there aren't that nice ones. So let's start with the good. Pros: Lots of space and cable management is very easy even with multiple RBG controllers, SSDs and dual graphics cards. I had room for cables for a few days. Pretty quiet considering I have an AOI and three additional 360 wheel fans, but more on that later. It feels solid, the filters are well made and easy to reach. The sliding bracket makes it easy to hide all but the bulkiest cables. The ease of removing the side panels was really another treat in this one. Cons: Unplugging the CPU power cable from the PSU is just a pull. Let's say your MB's CPU performance is at the top, around 99 percent. It doesn't make sense to me that Asus made that cable cover on the back and also provided all those brackets so you have to run a cable through the back of the cover and unclip it. Yes, you could get around this by purchasing a CPU cable extension, but that's already a $300 case. The vertical GPU bracket must be removed to access the traditional PCI brackets, and only the top two PCI slots have thumbscrews. Additionally, there's no stand for all those vertical GPU mounting options, something that makes me scratch my head considering it's a $300 case. The PSU cover has a plastic cutout, for the most part it's the only plastic in the whole build and it's easy to scratch, luckily I avoid that (at least there). The lid itself is metal and that cutout should have been glass at this price point in my opinion. Or just missing. The tempered glass panels have perhaps the strangest hardening I've ever seen. I managed to scratch them with my fingernail, but I didn't have it and am tearing the coating off. Who knew I had the power to scratch tempered glass? I have not done this and have never encountered a hard case. Finally, even with three beefy fans in the front and one in the back, you can't get around the fact that this thing is terrible for air management without the addition of a top exhaust and frankly water cooling. But when you get something that big, you still have to go that route. I just wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has tried an air-cooled build and any type of overclocking. Overall: the fact of the matter is, you got this because you're either a ROG fan like me or you liked the aesthetic. There are better cases in this price range in almost every way, but I like this one. I am happy with my purchase and excited to see what they can do with a little more experience in the case building department.
