Review on Taidacent Water Level Controller - Automatic Water Tank 🚰 Filling System with Advanced Non-Contact Sensors for Water Pump Control by Scott Richardson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works as described after some mods

I purchased an additional sensor to complete the wiring for four sensors: water in, low position, high position and overflow conditions. I contacted the seller and got a wiring diagram for the overflow sensor. But after my initial testing I found that there is no voltage at all on the alarm output terminals to turn on the warning light I am trying to install and the overflow sensor is not working as the documentation says. After several email exchanges with the seller, it turns out that some changes are needed.1. To supply power to the alarm output terminals, the pump output terminal C and the alarm output terminal C must be connected. I connected them with a wire.2. In order for the overflow to work correctly as described in the documentation, the black wire must be routed from the sensor and connected to the blue terminal along with the blue wire. According to the mods, the block works fine. I'm deducting one star for poor or incorrect documentation.

Pros
  • standard wiring - water ingress detection. If you need overflow detection function. What you need to do is: 1. To apply power to the alarm output terminals, you need to connect the pump output C terminal and the alarm output C terminal. I connected them with wire. 2. In order for the overflow to work as described in the documentation, the black wire must be routed from the sensor and connected to the blue terminal along with the blue wire.
