Excellent price and quality.

I must have looked at thousands of photos and specs of various small filing cabinets like this one. I was looking for something to fit under my home computer desk (Versa desk, model "Versa Center 72"). This one turned out perfect. And it costs about half as much as comparable models. There were some key features I was looking for. First he had to have 3 drawers. At first I thought I needed a large bottom drawer, a medium one and a small one. It has one big and two small. When I received it and started filling it at home, I found that I liked having two small drawers instead of one medium one. It worked very well. It also had to have wheels. You think you'll never need wheels, and it's true that you can probably get by without them. But wheels make it easier to pull the cabinet out from under the desk so you can get in and do something. You have to do this sometimes, especially when you have cables and things to take care of. As mentioned, the 5th wheel is attached to the bottom drawer. So you pull it out and the wheel comes with it. This will prevent the cabinet from tipping over. This was a great idea because in the past filing cabinets have tipped over due to an overloaded drawer. The wheel doesn't add much drag either, making it easy to get out even on thick carpets like mine. Another benefit for me was that this product doesn't have the usual metal edging at the top. and bottom edges. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's like taking sheet metal and bending it an inch around the top edge. This is how many metal filing cabinets are designed. I don't know what it is, but I just don't like it. And they tend to rust first if you've ever seen old metal filing cabinets. Anyway, very glad this closet doesn't suffer. Also, the drawer handles in this product are made of plastic and look nice. You might like metal handles, but I don't. The built-in metal handles, which are part of the drawer itself, strike me as very cold and impersonal. That's what you'd expect in an old office complex or garage. You don't want that, especially in the home office. The plastic handles of this product are oval and smooth. i really like it This is one of the more visually appealing aspects of this cabinet. There is an added bonus at the top of the closet. The top surface is made of plastic, along the perimeter of which there are walls one centimeter high. It's really super helpful. This allows you to hide the cabinet under the table and use it as another countertop to store frequently used items (staplers, pens, paper, clipboards, paperclips, CDs, etc.). You don't have to worry about things falling through the outer walls. And because it's tucked under your desk, it hides the clutter. A great idea! This is another reason why I chose a small medium drawer instead of a medium or large medium drawer. A taller middle drawer would mean the cabinet would have to be taller. And that would give you less (or no) space between the top of your filing cabinet and the bottom of your desk. In other words, in this case you won't be able to use this convenient interface at all. It's basically like getting the 4th crate for free. Inside the big box is a divider they contain. You can place the divider anywhere in this box (or remove it altogether). The divider allows you to create two sections in one large box. It's very useful. I have a few normal folders that I want to save in the first section and in the second section I just store various items that I file. There are no dividers in the two smaller boxes. However, you can easily add third-party dividers to these drawers if you wish. The cabinet comes with a small plastic tray that sits on top of one of the drawers, but you'll probably want to use the top drawer for that. The tray allows for storing small items such as pens, paperclips, erasers, keys, etc. It also doesn't bother putting things underneath. And you can still close the drawer when you use it. It's a very nice touch. There are even two notches on the front of the drawer that you can snap a small tray into and it will hold it in place. But you can install the tray as far into the drawer as you like and simply remove it to access what's underneath. It is very comfortable! The cabinet is delivered already assembled except for the wheels. The wheels can be left off or you can attach them yourself. Only one screw is required to mount each wheel. Getting dressed only takes a few minutes. Remember that two wheels "lock" and therefore the ones you'll probably want to put in the back. But I just left them in the unlocked position so I could roll out the closet whenever I wanted. Another thing I would like to mention is the packaging and the condition of the cabinet when I received it. It came in one of the best packaging I've ever seen! It was in two big boxes. And on the outside were thick cardboard angles. And then there was a third box around it. I rarely see this level of protection. The one I received had no dents or scratches (from UPS). Amazing packaging work. Oh, and another benefit for me was that the wheels fit perfectly on my Versa tables "Versa Center". This table is unique in that it has a solid pole that runs through the floor for added stability. The pole is about 6 inches or so from the wall. There was just enough room for the rear wheels of the cabinet. And it just so happens to be the same height as the wheels. The bar at the table didn't bother us at all. If you do not have such a table, then you obviously do not care at this moment. Well I think that's all. I am very happy with this closet. Looks good. Excellent price. Very durable and useful. No dents or scratches during shipping. Great find! Hope that helps.
