Review on Thayers Witch Hazel and Aloe Vera Toner - Alcohol-free and Unscented, 12 oz. (Pack of 2) by Jordan Serba

When I saw this product I thought I'd give it a try because it's basically alcohol free and has good reviews. Tomorrow

Bought this product hoping it would help with my skin and acne. I used to use other brands of witch hazel but only occasionally and couldn't keep using them because they all contained alcohol and after a few days of use my face became dry so I had to stop. When I saw this product I thought I'd give it a try because it's basically alcohol free and has good reviews. My face is always very dry when I get out of the shower in the morning. I usually use lotion but I hate it because no matter how lightly I use lotion it leaves a slight shine on my face which I hate. Instead, I use these after I get out of the shower and I don't seem to need to use lotion anymore (except for a few tiny dry patches that never go away). I like it because it appears to be moisturizing and unlike lotions doesn't really blot out on my skin after application. The unscented scent smells (a bit) but it doesn't really bother me and I think it wears off pretty quickly. I also tried the rose scented version which I found to be very strong and as a man I didn't like the smell of rose petals. I've been using it for several weeks now. I hope this helps solve some of my skin problems. I can't say I've noticed a huge improvement from not using it, but I will continue to use it and it almost feels like a liquid lotion in the morning that doesn't leave an annoying shine. It's definitely not as moisturizing as a lotion, but it keeps most of my skin (except for the few problem areas) from drying out, which is really all I care about. I gave it a 4/5 because I think it's a good product but not 5/5 because it's not 'oh my god' this product is amazing either way. I will continue to use it and see how it works and hopefully over time it will help my skin.
