I used an N/O plunger switch on a lawn mower shut-off. The way a lawn mower is set up you have to squeeze the handle to start it and every time you release the handle the lawn mower will turn off. So if you need to stop to pick up something that is in the way of cutting, e.g. B. a fallen branch or a piece of paper, you have to restart the mower, which is very inconvenient for me. I know it's security related, but some people can't fix stupid things and that's why they built security features like this. It's an inconvenience for me, so I canceled it. I'm not suggesting you do this, but if, like me, you find it impractical, these switches are perfect for an emergency shutdown. If you are smart enough to bypass the handle controls and set the switch, you are competent enough to start the mower without using the built in safety feature. Just a note: be careful when soldering wires, you don't need a lot of heat. !Remember this is a plastic switch.
