I bought a new laptop without a VGA port. I didn't think much about it until I started using it on a monitor that doesn't have an HDMI port. When the product arrived I plugged it in and it worked great on my home monitor which has both VGA and HDMI inputs. I have a second home and when I connected the adapter to this monitor it went beyond the horizontal and vertical controls. I've tried everything I can think of and nothing has worked. Some icons went off the screen and the screen settings could not compensate for them. I sent an email to the seller which took a few days to respond. Meanwhile, I accidentally right-clicked on the screen and found that I could adjust the aspect ratio, which solved the problem. When the seller replied these were suggestions that would not fix the problem but for the time being everything is working fine.
