I definitely do not recommend buying this as a Windows/PC controller. I bought it in August 2017. Within 6 weeks of ownership I encountered a "joystick drift" problem (analog stick does not return fully to center, stays out slightly in any direction). 90 days guarantee. Luckily I'm covered under warranty so replacing it should be pretty easy right? no You cannot get a controller warranty without first registering your Xbox One console. Well, if like me you bought it for PC but don't have an Xbox, what should you do? After about 2 hours chatting with support they finally figured out how I can honor the warranty if I don't have an Xbox. Here's the thing, I have to ship it back to them, pay shipping to get the defective product back to them and wait 2-4 weeks for a replacement. Not worth the hassle and trouble. I will buy a new controller from a retail store with a protection plan and recommend anyone looking to buy this controller do the same.
