The non-slip padding on the horizontal part is ideal for trousers and prevents it from slipping. When hanging heavy clothes, I use two of them. I hang wet clothes on these hangers to air dry. The swivel hook doesn't turn very well - it's stiff - and I don't want to try to turn the hook because I don't want it to come loose.
