This product fits my standard 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser well and covers the rear spare tire. It doesn't fit the stock bumper as it sticks out a bit. If you have a large spare tire (e.g. 35"+) it may not fit, but smaller spares will fit. I haven't had a rain cover in a long time, but it repels water. While it's new, it feels feels like a very thick synthetic fabric and not like a tarp or that it is made of smooth plastic. It is thicker than similarly priced cases that I have seen at my local Walmart or discount store. I have only purchased this product for periods in which the car is parked outside not as a permanent cover I will update this review if/when I buy a new one.
