Quite simply: the overall impression of the product is very poor. The Android app is very buggy. The remote control is not dimmed to the lowest possible level via the app. The chemical smell goes away, but first it hits you in the face. If you are looking for a useless product just for a child's room then this is a great buy. However, if you want it to serve as a basis for more LED lighting or you want to use it in traditional lighting applications, this product is not suitable. The biggest problem anyone with more than one strip will have is that this system is not future proof - if your neighbor buys the same set of LEDs they could replace your light! Even if they don't want it, it doesn't matter. The app is designed to control any LEDs it finds. Very bad design and a very difficult problem to solve if they didn't design carefully. This is a deal breaker in itself, but a bad, buggy app just kills all hope. His. So bad. In fact, it's the most buggy app I've ever used. Problems with overlay graphics, difficulties with navigation, incomprehensible user interface. Apparently, the Google Play Store for Android doesn't check the quality at all because the errors are obvious and noticeable. As for the LEDs themselves? Relax. I really like them and if I felt that this developer had a good long term plan to improve their system, add security and fix all bugs I would happily use them but that's from the other reviewers and the latest one Update reveals Android Store that they are not actively developing and improving their product. This is disappointing as cheap LED lighting would be excellent with this promised (though unimplemented) control.
