Very nice and great gift
I bought them as a gift, so I can't solve the absorbency problem. However, they feel thick. I like the cotton they are made of. Usually, such cotton is great for wiping glassware without leaving streaks. Plus, they come in packs of three, so you can gift them individually. I like that they aren't tied together like some socks that require you to cut a small plastic cord to separate them. Pineapples are a symbol of hospitality, so they seem like the perfect gift.
