Incorrect hole size for accessory
This unit is exactly the same as the one I replaced EXCEPT the flow restriction sleeve was much larger than the original which meant a lot of extra water was poured through the humidifier and ended up, in the basement . I replaced the original's smaller bore part/coupling and now it seems to be getting the right amount of water.
